The first acts to perform on our incredible Unsigned Stage have been announced:

LATE NIGHT LEGACY

Late Night Legacy are a high energy Rock Funk band unlike any other due to their explosive live shows. Heavily influenced by the likes of Incubus and Red Hot Chili Peppers, Late Night Legacy combine catchy, melodic rock riffs with a blazing stage presence and memorable hooks to produce a powerful, dynamic band.

Late night Legacy comprises of Ryan Kitto (vocals), Rob Orange (guitar), Kyle Metcalf (Bass) and Josh Stayman (Drums).  Their shows are often compared to the high visual intensity of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, extraordinary vocal power of Rival Sons, and catchy melodic riffs reminiscent of the great Jimi Hendrix and John Frusciante.

Their crowd-pleasing, winning performance at the Battle of the Bands gained them a live gig slot at the Leeds First Direct Arena opening for Duran Duran to Industry V.I.P.s.  No strangers to the festival circuit having played at last years Tramlines Festival, LIVE in Barnsley and Wigan LIVE.  They were actually voted the Best Live Band at Wigan LIVE 2017.  In addition to Wentworth Music Festival the band will also be appearing at this years Kendal Calling and Y Not Festival.

FRAZER

Originating from the suburbs of South Yorkshire, Frazer are a five-piece alternative rock band comprising of charismatic vocalist and guitarist Ashley Clarke, lead guitarist Harvey Fletcher, bassist Andrew ‘AJ’ Battey, Alex Owen on drums and Matt Marsh on keys.

Formed in late 2011 as a classic 4-piece they have become a hugely popular live act on the local Yorkshire music scene, headlining renowned venues such as The Plug, 02 Academy and The Leadmill in Sheffield.  2015 saw the band release their debut EP ‘Two Hands’ to critical acclaim.

In 2017 the guys supported McBusted and Scouting for Girls at two big shows at Scarborough’s Open Air Theatre.

TAXI FOR BOB

Taxi for Bob are an energetic three piece pop/punk band featuring Tom Jackson (Vocals/Guitar), Alex Bower (Bass/Backing Vocals) and Mattie Jones (Drums)

Taxi For Bob’s debut EP ‘Stuck In Here’ was released in February 2015, followed by endless shows across the UK from the East coast to the South-West. 2015 also saw the band support punk legends Sham 69.

After building a fanbase and following through their reputation of high-energy live shows, they released their second EP ‘Joke About It’ in April 2016, which received great praise and radio airtime. Taxi For Bob continued to gig continuously, including support slots with Louise Distras and 999, along with festival appearances at Tramlines Festival and LIVE in Barnsley.

2017 saw the release of their debut music video ‘GOING NOWHERE’ from their upcoming EP.

Now with a fanbase spreading nationwide, Taxi For Bob are about to embark on a UK headline tour.

LONG STORY SHORT

Long Story Short are a three piece from Sheffield and Rotherham comprising of Ricky (Guitars & Vocals), Matt (Bass & Vocals) and Paul (Drums)

Formed less than 12 months ago the lads have played extensively in Rotherham and Sheffield.

The boys have recently been working hard in the studios on their debut album ‘Crash Land’ which is due for release shortly.  A video single for the album track, ‘My Saving Grace’ was released in January 2018.

FIREHEART

Fireheart are a Classic Rock Band featuring Gilly Lodge on Vocals, Perry Duke on bass, Steve Clifford on guitar and Matt Townsend on drums.

If you love classic rock then this is the band for you, performing their own unique versions of songs by the likes of Journey, Whitesnake, Van Halen, Bon Jovi and many other famous rock groups.

PAISLEY SUNDAE

Formed in 2015, Paisley Sundae are four mates from Barnsley; Mason Harris (Vocals/ Guitar), Josh Whitehurst (Guitar/ Backing Vocals), Henry Swift (Bass Guitar) and Owen Galloway (Drums)

Paisley Sundae released their debut single, ‘Had Someone’, in 2016 and also supported Razorlight.  They have also played Tramlines Festival, WomFest and LIVE in Barnsley.

‘L.U.V’ – released on January 19 2018 – is their second official single and they will be a very welcome addition to the Unsigned Stage.
